To complete Defenders of Peace – IMS in STFC, Commanders have to complete the Defenders of Peace – SMS related events.
In Star Trek Fleet Command (STFC), players can experience epic conflict in a vast, dynamic galaxy.
It is your responsibility to recruit famous officers with unique, tactical abilities and assign them to powerful ships to vanquish hostiles in numerous systems.
Defenders of Peace IMS
To progress in STFC you have to complete space-based missions, but you can occasionally enjoy in-game events. An in-game event is a limited-time activity which requires that players complete unique tasks.
One of the events you can enjoy is Defenders of Peace – IMS and it requires that the entire server work together to earn rewards.

The event’s official description explains that you have to form a team of allies and navigate treacherous realities to unravel a sinister plot and preserve the integrity of time.
Keep in mind, however, that the wicked Architects of Chaos seek to dominate all realities by orchestrating the fragmentation of the timeline and manipulating history to their advantage.
The fate of the universe therefore changes in the balance, but who will win in this cosmic showdown? To score in this event, you have to complete the Defender of Peace – SMS milestones, which have to be completed individually.
To advance the IMS event, your entire server must attempt to complete all the individual events to earn the amazing rewards that the IMS has to offer.
The Defender of Peace – SMS event requires that players complete related events. You therefore have to complete 5 related events to score points for the IMS event.
Event duration
The Defenders of Peace IMS event began on Monday, 13 November 2023 and will conclude on Saturday, 18 November 2023.
Although this event is active for 5 days, you only have 1 day to complete the related events to score points for the SMS event, which will progress the IMS event.
The table below lists when the related events are active:
Related event | Date active |
Unraveling Anomalies | Monday, 13 November 2023 |
Enlisting Old Allies | Tuesday, 14 November 2023 |
Hidden Motivations | Wednesday, 15 November 2023 |
Assembling the Resistance | Thursday, 16 November 2023 |
Shaping a Unified Destiny | Friday, 17 November 2023 |
Tasks
For each of the related events, you have to complete a series of tasks to earn points. The tasks that you have to complete for each related event are:
Event | Tasks |
Unraveling Anomalies | You can complete this event by docking Ore, Gas or Crystal with your Station. You can also mine Parsteel, Titanium or Dilithium |
Enlisting Old Allies | To complete this event, you have to use Hailing Frequencies in one of the several systems. You also have to help your Alliance |
Hidden Motivations | Commanders must complete Away Team Assignments to complete this event. Additionally, players have to spend Trait XP |
Assembling the Resistance | You have to upgrade and gain power through Research, Defense Platforms, Buildings and Drydocks |
Shaping a Unified Destiny | For this event, you have to conquer hostiles and swarm hostiles. |
Scoring
To progress the IMS event, players have to complete the related Defender of Peace SMS events.
For every related event that you complete, you will be rewarded with 100 points, which means that if you manage to complete all 5 events, you will earn 500 points.
However, some of the related events have already concluded and if you did not complete them, then you likely did not receive any points.
Fortunately, there are still 2 related events that you can complete to earn points, namely Assembling the Resistance and Shaping a Unified Destiny.
Completing these events will earn you 200 points, which will still advance the IMS event. We therefore recommend that players complete the remaining 2 events even if they missed the other related events.
Rewards
If you complete the Defenders of Peace – SMS related events in STFC, you will earn rich rewards.
Ideally players will want to earn enough points to earn the Defenders of Peace – IMS rewards, which are considered much more valuable than the Defenders of Peace – SMS rewards.
If you complete the SMS event, you will receive Tritanium, 2-star Uncommon Refined Crystal, 2-star Common Refined Crystal, Missing Translation and resource tokens.
If your server manages to accumulate 8 925 milestone points, each commander on the server will receive 4 Jadzia Dax shards, 3 Miles O’Brien shards as well as a missing translation.
