STFC’s IMS events require an entire server to complete certain milestone events to earn points, which determines the rewards you will earn.
In Star Trek Fleet Command (STFC) you can enter a galaxy on the edge of war as Romulan, Klingon and Federation forces fight for control of various quadrants.
You have to recruit legendary characters, build powerful ships and vanquish hostiles to advance in the game.
IMS
In addition to following the main arc and completing space-based missions, you can enjoy events. There are different types of events with unique objectives that you have to complete to earn rewards.
One of these event types is IMS, which functions unlike any other event in STFC. Instead of completing the objectives and earning points as an individual, an IMS event requires that the entire server work together to complete objectives and earn points.
This essentially means that an IMS event will progress much slower than an event where you have to complete the objectives solo.
As Commanders on your server complete the IMS’s objectives, the event will progress, which means that you are closer to earning rewards.
Scopely recently announced that players can participate in 2 IMS events, namely Architects of Chaos and Defenders of Peace.
Both of these events began on Monday, 13 November 2023 and will conclude on Saturday, 18 November 2023.
Your server therefore only has 5 days to complete the event’s objectives to earn rewards. To make headway in the IMS events, you have to complete SMS milestones, though the SMS events’ progress is individual.
To progress in the Architects of Chaos IMS event, you need to complete Architect of Chaos SMS milestones. This principle also applies to the Defenders of Peace IMS event.
Milestones
In order to help your server advance in the IMS events, you have to complete the SMS milestones, which is an individual task.
The milestones that you can complete for the SMS events are as follows:
Event | Milestones |
Defender of Peace – SMS |
|
Architect of Chaos – SMS |
|
The milestones that you have to complete are in-game events with unique objectives. When you complete an event, it will progress the IMS event.
If you manage to complete all the events, then you have done your part to advance the IMS event.
Milestone objectives
Every milestone event has a unique objective that you have to complete in order to progress both IMS events. The following table outlines the milestone events’ objectives:
Milestone event | Objectives |
Unraveling Anomalies |
|
Enlisting Old Allies |
|
Hidden Motivations |
|
Assembling the Resistance |
|
Shaping a Unified Destiny |
|
Disarray Unleashed |
|
The Onslaught |
|
Confronting Resilience |
|
Testing Destinies |
|
A Reckoning Across Time |
|
Dates active
Commanders should note that the milestone events are only active for a few days and some are only active for a day.
We therefore recommend that you pay attention to the following dates:
Milestone event | Dates active |
Unraveling Anomalies | Monday, 13 November 2023 |
Enlisting Old Allies | Tuesday, 14 November 2023 |
Hidden Motivations | Wednesday, 15 November 2023 |
Assembling the Resistance | Thursday, 16 November 2023 |
Shaping a Unified Destiny | Friday, 17 November 2023 |
Disarray Unleashed | Monday, 13 November 2023 |
The Onslaught | Tuesday, 14 November 2023 |
Confronting Resilience | Wednesday, 15 November 2023 |
Testing Destinies | Thursday, 16 November 2023 |
A Reckoning Across Time | Friday, 17 November 2023 |
IMS rewards
If your server manages to complete the milestone events, they will accumulate points, the number of which will determine the rewards that every Commander on the server will get.
So we recommend that every Commander in STFC attempt to complete as many milestone events as possible to accumulate points.
The rewards that you will earn by completing the IMS events are:
Event | Milestone points | Rewards |
Defenders of Peace IMS | 8925 |
|
Architect of Chaos IMS | 8925 |
|
