STFC’s Friends in High Places event requires that Commanders participate in various other events to score points and earn rewards.
In this adventurous video game, Star Trek Fleet Command (STFC), players can complete space-based missions, vanquish hostiles, construct ships and recruit officers.
In addition to these features, you can participate in a range of in-game events.
Friends in High Places
One of the events that you can enjoy is Friends in High Places, but this activity is only active for a limited-time.
The official description for this event reveals that the long-awaited and dreaded Assessment Test is here, and the Cerritos are all abuzz with the news: Admiral Freeman himself is here to oversee the test!
The description further reads, “For a young ensign with dreams stretching far beyond the lower decks and California-Class, this could be the opportunity of a lifetime.”
This event motives players to get into ship shape and tackle the test. However, it would be good to make friends in high places!

This event does not function like other events as it has no specific objectives and tasks to complete. Instead, you have to participate in numerous other events to score points towards the Friends in High Places event.
Keep in mind that these events have unique objectives that you have to complete in order to earn points for the Friends in High Places event. If you manage to earn enough points, you will unlock the Rare Admiral Freeman.

Which events should you participate in?
There are approximately 20 unique events that you can participate in to score points for the Friends in High Places event.
Keep in mind that these events all have varying requirements and if you do not meet these requirements, you will not be able to participate in the events.
Furthermore, the minimum level that you have to be to enjoy these events is level 10. When deciding which events you want to enjoy, we recommend that you consider the level requirement.
It is also advisable that you participate in all the events if you meet the level requirement.
If you participate in all the events available to you, you will receive the most possible points for Friends in Higher places.
However, if you only participate in a select few, you may not be able to unlock Rare Admiral Alonzo Freeman.
When will the Friends in High Places event conclude?
The Friends in High Places event began on Tuesday, 3 October 2023 and it will conclude on Sunday, 22 October 2023. In this time, Scopely, STFC’s developer, will host many events you can participate in to earn points.
Most of these events are only active for 1 day though, which means you only have a few hours to complete the objectives and earn points for the main event.
While the Friends in High Places event is active, you can enjoy a variety of events, each of which has unique objectives.
Commanders should remember that the corresponding events will be removed from STFC once they conclude. This means that you will no longer be able to enjoy them even if the Friends in High Places event is still active.
Alonzo Freeman
Rare Admiral Alonzo Freeman was released with the Lower Decks II Part 2 update, which was announced on Tuesday, 3 October 2023.
Similarly to other Officers in STFC, Alonzo Freeman has special abilities, but players should keep in mind that this officer does not have a Captain’s Maneuver.
This means that equipping Alonzo Freeman as the captain of a ship will provide no benefit for gamers. However, he has the following abilities:
Ability type | Name | Description |
Officer Ability | Cargo Bay Converter | He increases the cargo size of a ship by 20 percent. |
Below Decks Ability | War Stories | Freeman increased the base amount of positive Federation, Romulan and Klingon reputation obtained from defeating hostiles by 10 percent. |
