There are 4 new mission chains that you can complete in STFC’s Lower Deck update, and these missions have level requirements.
Players can encounter legendary Star Trek vessels, locations, storylines and characters in this exhilarating video game, Star Trek Fleet Command (STFC). To progress in the game, you must complete various space-based missions.
Scopely recently announced new Lower Deck missions that Commanders can complete.
Lower Decks II Part 1
Scopely released a major update for STFC on Tuesday, 5 September 2023. This update is called Lower Decks II Part 1, and it introduced many new features to the game.
You can now unlock a new ship, The Monaveen, which specializes in vanquishing new enemies, Texas-class and Automated Shipyard.
Furthermore, the update released 3 new Epic Officers that you can recruit. The Officers include Captain Carol Freeman, Jack Ransom and Andy Billups. Players can also get a new refit and research 2 new prime research nodes.
Keep in mind that these research nodes can only be unlocked with real money, so you have to purchase packs to unlock them.
STFC: Lower Deck Missions
Lower Deck II Part 1 also introduced 10 new Core Lower Deck missions, 3 ship intro missions and 22 new side missions. Commanders should remember that the Lower Deck missions have to be completed to progress in STFC.
The side missions are optional though, but we recommend that you complete them as you will receive rich rewards if you do. The Lower Deck Missions include In the Bare Moonlight, Fight-or-Flight, Here Be Dragons and Tribute Act.
Commanders should note that all the new quests have a minimum level requirement and if you do not meet these requirements, you cannot begin the quests.

The minimum level requirement is as follows:
Quest | Minimum level requirement |
In the Bare Moonlight | 25 |
Fight-or-Flight | 25 |
Here Be Dragons | 40 |
Tribute Act | 34 |
If you meet these requirements, you can begin the quest by opening your Holodeck. Most of the new quests are part of a mission chain, which means that they consist of more than 1 quest to complete.
