STFC’s update 58 introduced a new enemy, known as Texas-class, for you to defeat, however they can only be found in specific systems.
Star Trek Fleet Command (STFC) follows the Kelvin chronology of the well-renowned Star Trek series.
The game’s developer, Scopely, regularly updates the game to ensure that players have the most seamless gaming experience. Update 58 introduced a new enemy – the Texas-class.
STFC: Texas-class
Update 58, also known as Lower Decks II Part 1, was released on Tuesday, 5 September 2023. This update introduced new enemies, a new ship, new officers and new missions.
After unlocking the new ship, Monaveen, you can travel to the new Texas-class systems, which are next to Federation space. In the new systems, you can battle Texas-class ships to earn loot.
Players can exchange the loot they get from defeating Texas-class enemies in the Monaveen’s refinery for Queen’s Favors, Monaveen-related items or Shipyard directives.
Though you should keep in mind that there are varying levels of Texas-class hostiles in the new systems. Although the opponent remains the same, its power is determined by its level.
This essentially means that the higher the Texas-class enemies’ levels are, the more power they have, which makes them more difficult to destroy.
