STFC: Monaveen Blueprints

STFC players can either purchase all 200 Monaveen blueprints or wait several months for additional blueprints to be released

The objective of the game is to expand your fleet by building vessels, recruiting officers, completing space-based missions and exploring various systems.

One of the ships that you can construct is the Monaveen, though you need to procure blueprints to build it.

The Monaveen

The Monaveen is an economy-based vessel introduced with update 58, which was released on Tuesday, 5 September 2023.

This Hysperian Battleship provides Commanders with resource and material benefits, as well as a research tree w offers fleet-wide advantages.

After building the ship, you can travel to the new Texas-class systems to defeat a new enemy known as Texas-class.

After vanquishing these enemies, you will receive rewards which can be exchanged in the Monaveen’s refinery for Shipyard Directives, Monaveen-related items or Queen’s Favors.

STFC: Monaveen Blueprints

In order to add the Monaveen to your arsenal, you must farm approximately 200 Monaveen blueprints.

Unfortunately, only players level 40 and higher can farm the blueprints. In addition to the blueprints, you need to harvest Tritanium, Dilithium, 4-star Common Refined Crystals and 4-star Common Refined Ore.

Players can either complete a quest chain to get some of the blueprints required for building the Monaveen, or they can purchase a Monaveen package to receive all the blueprints required to construct the ship.

Keep in mind however that you need to purchase the Monaveen package with real money. This means that only players who are willing to spend real money in the game will be able to purchase the pack.

Commanders should note that it is not mandatory to purchase the pack as the Monaveen blueprints can be procured for free by completing certain quests. After completing the Here Be Dragons questline, you will be rewarded with 6 Monaveen blueprints.

Unfortunately, this is the only questline that rewards players with blueprints. This means that you may have to wait several months for Scopely, STFC’s developer, to release additional quest chains which reward Monaveen blueprints.

Some players are not interested in waiting for the additional quests to be released and therefore, they are willing to purchase the Monaveen package to procure all the blueprints required to construct the vessel.

That being said, you cannot complete the quest to receive the 6 blueprints and purchase the package to receive the remaining blueprints, as they are not on scale.

You can only purchase all 200 blueprints or take the free route and wait a few months to get the necessary blueprints to build the Monaveen.

Here Be Dragons

The Here Be Dragons quest chain was introduced with update 58 and to start it, players have to open their Holodeck.

Players should keep in mind that they have to be at least level 40 in order to start this quest chain. It consists of 3 parts, and each one requires that you complete the following objectives:

Upgrading the Monaveen

After building the Monaveen, you need to upgrade it to enhance its abilities. Commanders can upgrade the Monaveen by participating in the Monaveen game loop and by exchanging bundles.

In addition to Tritanium, Dilithium and Parsteel rewards, you will receive Regal Geodes, which is a unique currency that can unlock the new research associated with the Monaveen.

If you have already built the Monaveen, you can participate in a limited-time event.

This event commenced on Tuesday, 5 September 2023 and it will conclude on Monday, 11 September 2023. During this time, you have to increase the tier of your Monaveen to score points.

Monaveen’s abilities

By upgrading the Monaveen you will increase its abilities. The Monaveen features a notable ability which amplifies base damage against the Texas-class hostiles.

This unique capability empowers the Monvaan with unparalleled strength against these adversaries, which outclasses the capabilities of all other ships.

The ship also introduces a new ‘risk VS reward’ gameplay mechanic which requires that STFC players leper their Peach Shields if they want to engage with the new high-reward hostiles.
