STFC: Monaveen Crew

Since the Monaveen was recently introduced in STFC, players are unsure which crew members they should assign to it.

You can immerse yourself in a fictitious space realm in this exciting mobile game, Star Trek Fleet Command (STFC).

A recent update introduced a new vessel called the Monaveen and since its release, players have wondered what the best crew is for the ship .

STFC: Monaveen Crew

There are several officers that you can assign to the vessels in STFC and although you can use any crew combination for a ship, some crew combinations work better together than others.

Since the Monaveen was recently released, Commanders are unsure about which characters they should assign to the Monaveen to enhance its capabilities.

On the official Discord channel, STFC player, TonTo mentioned that players can use the Strange New Worlds (SNW) crew members with Hugh and Doc below the deck.

There are several SNW crew members to choose from, however, we recommend that you use Spike, Una and Ortega, as this combination will enhance the ship’s capabilities.

Commanders should remember that they must acquire the character shards for the mentioned officers to recruit them. Once you have the entire crew, you can assign them to the Monaveen to experience their abilities.

How to recruit the SNW characters

Although most players have recruited all of the SNW characters, some players have yet to recruit all of them.

The following table lists the methods that you can use to procure the character shards of the mentioned characters:

SNW Pike	Officer shards can be earned by completing special events and in the “Offers” tab
SNW Ortega	Players can earn character shards for Ortega by completing the following missions: Course Correction Part 1 Correction Part 2 Fear Itself Part 5 Network Theory Part 2 Network Theory Part 5
SNW Una	You can earn officer shards for Una by completing part 5 of the Loyalties mission and participating in the Infinite Incursion Events
Hugh	Officers shards can be earned through Borg Solo Armada Chests, by completing Special Events and from the “Offers” tab.

Abilities

As previously mentioned, the recommended crew for the Monaveen has several abilities that players can experience when they are in battle.

The abilities of each of the crew members are listed below:

Character	Abilities
SNW Pike	Captain Maneuver: When fighting hostiles, he increases shield mitigation by 4 percent. Officer Ability When fighting, he decreases hostile shield mitigation by 10 percent.
SNW Ortega	Captain Maneuver: She increases critical hit chance against hostiles by 15 percent. Officer Ability: She increases Armor, Shield Deflection and Dodge by 500 percent of total Health.
SNW Una	Captain Maneuver: She increases base weapon damage by 100 percent Officer Ability: Una increases impulse speed by 15
Hugh	Officer Ability: He increases the impulse speed by 5 percent Below Deck Ability: He has a 45 percent chance to increase Critical Hit Chance by 25 percent for 2 rounds after being hit by a hostile.
The Doctor	Officer Ability: When you take hull damage, he increases your Armor, Shield Deflection and Dodge by 300 of health. Below Deck Ability: Increases all resources dropped by hostiles by 15 percent.

How to obtain the Monaveen

Before you can use the crew on the Monaveen, you must add it to your arsenal. Players can either purchase the Monaveen pack or complete quests to get the necessary blueprints to construct it.

If you purchase the pack, you will receive 200 blueprints, but if you complete the quests, you will only receive 6 blueprints.

STFC Commanders who select the free route will have to wait for additional quests to be released to earn additional blueprints.
