During STFC’s Portal Trivia event, players have to answer a question by selecting an answer and completing a specific task.
In addition to completing missions, vanquishing enemies and exploring a vast galaxy, Star Trek Fleet Command (STFC) players can enjoy a variety of events. One of the events that players can participate in is The Portal Meta – SMS.
This event requires that you help Brad Boimler return home by completing 5 unique objectives. To complete 4 of the 5 objectives, you have to answer a quiz that revolves around Boimler and the Enterprise.
Every question has 4 possible answers, but to answer a question, you have to complete a task.
You therefore have to carefully consider which answer is the right one before you complete the task to answer the question. The table below lists the questions that you have to answer as well as the correct answer:

Tasks
In order to answer the questions, you have to complete tasks. Keep in mind however that you may have to travel to specific systems in order to complete the given task:

Task 5
As previously mentioned, 4 of the 5 objectives that you have to complete for The Portal Meta – SMS event require that you answer a question.
However, the last objective is unlike the other objectives as players have to defeat hostiles in it to ensure that Boimler gets home safe.
Keep in mind, however, that the level of the hostile that you defeat determines the number of points you will earn. The more points you earn, the more rewards you will receive.
The following table lists how many points you will earn for every enemy level range:

Rewards
For every question that you answer correctly and if you defeat the hostiles, you will earn rich rewards. Players will be rewarded with a specific quantity of Opelian Keystones as well as Parsteel.
You can use the Opelian Keystones to purchase items in the limited time event store.
Commanders should note that the event will conclude on Saturday, 18 May 2024. We believe that some of the items available in the event store will be removed when the event concludes.
Players should therefore exchange their Opelian Keystones for the items they want before the event ends.
That being said, there is also a chance that Scopely will remove the Keystones when the event concludes. If you do not use the currency in time, you may miss out on valuable rewards.
Will The Portal Meta event return to STFC?
At the time of writing, it is unknown whether The Portal Meta event will return to STFC or not. That being said, Scopely regularly hosts trivia events which require that players complete specific tasks to answer questions.
That being said, every trivia event follows a specific theme, which means that the following trivia event may not follow the same theme as the Portal Meta event.
We recommend that players regularly check the event page to see when the next trivia event will activate.
