STFC players can now answer 4 questions that revolve around Boimler and the Enterprise to earn rich rewards.
Star Trek Fleet Command (STFC) players have to follow unique storylines and arcs to progress in the game. However Scopely regularly releases events in which Commanders have to complete a series of objectives to earn rewards.
On Monday, 13 May 2024, The Portal Meta- SMS event commenced and according to its description, Brad Boimler has been ported into a portal which has sent him back to the past. You have to help him return home by completing 5 tasks.
The Portal Meta is a Trivia event, which essentially means that the event will test your knowledge about STFC Lore. This event requires that you answer 4 questions that revolve around Boimler and the Enterprise.
Every question that you have to answer has 4 possible answers, however, only 1 answer is correct. To answer a question, you have to complete a task in the galaxy.

Tasks
To answer a question, you have to complete tasks. The following table lists the tasks for every answer:

Correct answers
It is worth noting that every question only has 1 correct answer. To earn as many rewards as possible, you have to carefully consider which task you want to complete to earn rewards.

Task 5
Although there are only 4 questions that you have to complete, the event requires that Commanders to complete 5 tasks.
The 5th task differs from the other objectives. Its description reveals that hostiles are preventing you from repairing the portal.
Commanders have to take them out to ensure that Boimler gets home safely. You therefore have to kill a hostile of a specific level to earn points. The higher the level of the hostile that you vanquish from the galaxy, the more points you will earn.
Keep in mind that the hostile you have to defeat has to correspond to your level at the time. This means that if you are a low-level player, you should not try to defeat an enemy higher than your level, as you will lose the battle.
Rewards
By participating in the event and answering every question correctly, players will earn rich rewards.
If you complete all 5 tasks, you will earn Opeian Keystones as well as Missing Translation. However, you will also earn Opelian Keystones for every question that you answer correctly.
Players have until Saturday, 18 May 2024 to complete all of the objectives and earn rewards.
