Prime: Battleship Wrecking in STFC increases your weapon damage by 300 percent when fighting other Commanders, but you have to purchase a pack to research it.
Star Trek Fleet Command (STFC) is an explorative video game that takes place in a vast open galaxy. The objective of the game is to defeat enemies, join Alliances, mine resources, build ships and recruit officers.
As you progress in the game, you can unlock Primes, which provides your fleet with bonuses. One of these Primes is Battleship Wrecking.
STFC: Prime Battleship Wrecking
Update 55, which was released on Tuesday, 6 June 2023, introduced several new features to STFC.
Players can now explore new systems in the Delta Quadrant, vanquish Species 8472, recruit new officers and add the USS Voyager to their fleet.
Part 2 of the Voyager Arc also introduced a new Prime Node, though it is only available for players who are Operations level 35 and higher. In the Combat Tree of your in-game research, you will find the Prime: Battleship Wrecking node.
If you research this node, it will increase your weapon damage by 300 percent when you are fighting against another Commander’s Battleship. To celebrate the arrival of a new Prime, players can enjoy an in-game event.
Wrecking Battleships (Heroic) started on Friday, 9 June 2023 and will conclude on Sunday, 25 June 2023.
The official description reads, “Commander, new information surrounding weapons targeting has afforded us the opportunity to gain a decisive advantage. Seize this opportunity!”
To score points during this event, players must research the Prime: Battleship Wrecking in their research tree.
How to research Prime: Battleship Wrecking
Most research nodes in your research tree require research credits to be completed, however, this is not the case for Prime: Battleship Wrecking.
Allegedly, players have to purchase an in-game package in order to research the Prime: Battleship Wrecking.
Bear in mind that you can only purchase an in-game package with real money. So you should consider if you are willing to spend money in STFC to complete the research.
Is Prime: Battleship Wrecking worth it?
Some STFC players argue that purchasing the package to research Prime: Battleship Wrecking is not worth it, as they need to use real money. Others believe that it is a fantastic bonus to have while defeating Commanders’ battleships.
Players who complete the research will certainly receive a slight advantage over those who do not to purchase it. However, it is entirely your decision. Keep in mind that you do not have to purchase the package to progress in STFC.
Who can participate in the Wrecking Battleships event?
It is worth noting that only players who have reached level 35 can participate in the Wrecking Battleships event.
If you are level 35 or higher, you still have to purchase the in-game package to score points for the event. This means that not all STFC players will enjoy the event, as they are not all willing to purchase the package.
