STFC: Rare Formation Armadas

There are several systems in which STFC Commanders can find the new Rare Formation Armadas, though you need Rare Directives to summon them.

In Star Trek Fleet Command (STFC) Commanders can follow the Kelvin chronology of the classic series, Star Trek.

That means that you can encounter legendary ships, hostiles, Officers, locations and storylines from the series in the game. One of the enemies that players can find is Rare Formation Armadas.

STFC: Rare Formation Armadas

On Tuesday, 8 August 2023, STFC released the patch notes for update 57, also known as Voyager part 4. This update introduced an array of new questlines, locations and enemies. One of the new enemy types is Rare Formation Armadas.

According to the update, the Delta Quadrant is expanding its boundaries as a new enemy lurks around called the Borg Unicomplex, the evil represented by the new Rare Formation Armadas.

Players levels 38 and higher can join forces and rally against the Rare Formation Armadas.

Commanders can follow the mission chain, which that requires that you explore the new sector to go through your first Rare Formation Armada fight.

To summon a Rare Formation Armada, you need to obtain Rare Directives, which is available from the 7-day chest and in the “Offers” tab.

After destroying the Rare Formation Armadas, you will earn rare rewards.

Rewards

Keep in mind that the first Rare Formation Armada you have to defeat is level 31, so low-level players will not be able to defeat the opponent.

If you successfully vanquish the hostile, you will receive Artifact Tokens and Artifact Shards. Commanders will also receive Complex Nanotech, which is a new currency.

Players can use this currency to claim chests, which contain varying items, including new officer shards, rare skill points, Isolytic artifacts and tokens.

Artifact pool

If all 3 nodes are taken down, everyone participating in the battle will receive Isolytic Artifact shards, based on the level Formation Armada.

Every level of Rare Formation Armadas has a pool of Artifact shards which can be earned, as outlined below:
