One of the enemy species players can encounter in STFC is Separatists and these enemies can only be found in specific systems.
Star Trek Fleet Command (STFC) follows the Kelvin chronology of the classic series, Star Trek. You can build and customize a powerful fleet, recruit iconic characters and explore strange new worlds in this game.
As you explore the space realms, you may encounter hostiles. However, some enemies, such as the Separatists, are only in some systems.
Who are the Separatists?
According to Star Trek lore, the Separatists are members of a coalition that went against the Klingon Empire to fight the Federation and Romulan enemies.
You now have to vanquish these hostiles from the STFC universe to earn rewards.
Players should note, however, that the Separatists have varying levels. The higher the enemy’s level is, the tougher it is to destroy them.
Furthermore, you may encounter different Separatists as you explore the galaxy, and some types are stronger than others.
For instance, the Separatist Bosses are slightly stronger than others, even if they have the same level as other Separatists.
STFC: Separatists Systems
As previously explained, you can encounter Separatists of varying levels. Players should note that the level of the Separatists’ enemies determine the systems in which they can be found.
You should therefore decide which Separatist level you want to defeat and then travel to the corresponding system.
Gamers can use the following guideline to determine which systems they can find specific level Separatists in:
Separatist level | Description | Systems |
17 | As an Elite Interceptor, this enemy is slightly stronger than others of the same level. |
|
22 | This Elite Interceptor is stronger than other enemies of the same level. |
|
26 | As a Boss vessel, it is much stronger than others of the same level. Players may struggle to defeat this enemy. |
|
Once you have decided which Separatist enemy you want to defeat, you can travel to one of the mentioned systems.
To do this, you can open your map and click on the search bar before typing the name of the system into the search bar.
Searching the system will automatically take you to where the system is located. This makes looking for systems much easier as you no longer have to manually look for a system in a vast galaxy.
Before attacking a Separatist, you should select a powerful vessel along with specific crew members to increase your chances of winning the battle. Players will get various rewards for vanquishing a Separatist vessel.
Vessel statistics and rewards
As seen in the table above, there are varying Separatists levels and players should note that every level has unique statistics. Furthermore, the rewards that you get are determined by the level of the Separatist that you defeat:
Separatists | Statistics | Rewards |
Separatist (17) |
|
|
Separatist (22) |
|
|
Separatist Boss (Interceptor) |
|
|
Separatist Boss (Explorer) |
|
|
Separatist Boss (Battleship) |
|
|
Recommended crew members
Although you can use any crew members for the normal Separatist hostiles, we recommend that you use specific crew members for destroying Separatists Bosses.
If you use the following crew members, you will improve your odds against these fearsome foes:
Crew member | Role | Description |
Nero | Captain | His ability, Joy in Vengeance, increases the damage of your weapons by 40 percent if the target ship is burning. |
Livis | Officer | Livis can increase the health of any Battleship by 20 percent, which will help your fleet stay in the fight longer. |
Javid | Officer | He can increase your Battleship armor statistics by 15 percent. |
Separatist events
STFC occasionally hosts limited-time events which invite players to complete specific objectives to earn rewards.
Players can now participate in a Ticketed Event: Separatists – SMS from Sunday, 20 August 2023 to Monday, 21 August 2023. The event will become active on Sunday, 27 August 2023 and will conclude on Monday, 28 August 2023.
This is a solo milestone event, which means that you cannot ask for help from other STFC players.
