The game’s 21st season, Season of the Deep, was recently released and it introduced several new activities and quests for gamers to enjoy. It also added the Midnight Plant to the game.
Destiny 2: Midnight Plant
Players can now enjoy the Deep Dives activity, which requires that you explore the methane ocean of Titan to extract the power that Sloane needs to connect with Ahsa.
While progressing through the new area, you may find rare loot, including the Midnight Plant.
The Midnight Plant is required to complete the Aquarium Vivarium triumph, which unlocks the Síocháin’s Scuba Exotic Ghost Shell upon completion.
To procure the Midnight Plant, you have to travel to the methane sea leading up to the Kudazad, Bound to Xivu Arath Deep Dive encounter.
Players can find the Midnight Plant by going through the door on the floor. You have to follow the corridor and you will be prompted to harvest the plant when you get to the door leading outside.
You should note that you need to fully complete the drilling sector of the Deep Dive activity to harvest the Midnight Plant.
Your aquarium
Once you have the Midnight Plant, you can go to your aquarium to decorate it. There are several ways to decorate your aquarium. Players have to complete fishing triumphs and find hidden plants during deep dives.
You can therefore place the Midnight Plant in your requirement to change its appearance. There are also several other plants that you can collect to decorate your aquarium. Furthermore, you can add the fish you caught to the aquarium.
Deep Dive Plants
The Deep Dive activity contains 6 hidden plants for you to harvest. That being said, Deep Dive is time gated, which means that not all plants are available all the time. Some plants are only available during a specific week of the season.
For instance, Destiny 2 players can only acquire Midnight Plant during the second week of the season. During the first week, you were able to get the Twilight Plant and the Twilight Flora.
It is predicted that you will be able to acquire the Abyss plant and Abyss flora during the third week.
Deep Dive
To start your Deep Dive adventure, you have to open your H.E.L.M director and select the Deep Dive option. You will get the chance to select one of Ahsa’s blessings before making your way down the facility and into the Sonar Station.
In addition to the Midnight Plant, there are 5 other plants that you can acquire during this activity. Thus, we recommend that you pay attention to your surroundings and not rush the activity.
