Evony: Beowulf

Evony players can now acquire the new Epic Historic General Beowulf, who specializes in Mounted Troop attacks.

On Friday, 8 March 2024, Evony released an in-game announcement which introduced the new Epic Historic General Beowulf.

According to his description, Beowulf led his warriors across the sea to embark on a journey to help the Danish king defeat the malevolent mother and son demons.

Beowulf therefore freed the kingdom from fear and earned the adoration of all its people. In order to add Beowulf to your General Collection, you have to participate in the Historic General Summoning event.

Gamers must use Epic Historic General (Glory) to summon an Epic Historic General.

During the event time, if you do not get the latest released General after summoning 5 times, he or she is guaranteed within the next summoning. That being said, your chances of summoning Beowulf are increased while the event is active.

Players must purchase packages with real money in order to acquire Epic Historic General (Glory). Keep in mind that there is also a chance to receive Beowulf from the 5th tier packages.

This essentially means that you can procure Beowulf from purchasing packages or by summoning him in the event.

Beowulf’s abilities

Similarly to other Generals in Evony, Beowulf has several abilities that you can use to advance in the game:

  • Mounted Troop Defense is increased by 10%
King of the Geats
  • Mounted troop attack on monsters is increased by 40%
  • Mounted troop attack is increased by 15%
  • March Speed to monsters is increased by 35%

Beowulf’s special ability

In addition to the abilities mentioned above, Beowulf has a unique special skill called Dragon Slayer. This skill increases mounted troops’ attack and defense by 35%.

It also increases ground troops and mounted troops’ HP by 30% when Beowulf is leading the army to attack.

Increasing Beowulf’s star level will unlock additional effects for his special effects:

1 Mounted troop defense is increased by 10% while HP is increased by 15%
2 Marching Troop Death into Wounded Rate is increased by 8%
3 When attacking monsters, mounted troop attack is increased by 16% and HP is increased by 10%
