Evony: General Pyrrhus

You can use General Pyrrhus for a variety of activities in Evony, however, we recommend that you only use him for a Ground PvP attack.

Evony: The King’s Return is an adventurous video game in which players can assume the role of a lord or lady in medieval times.

You have to expand your empire by training troops, harvesting resources, constructing buildings and slaying monsters. To assist you with these tasks, you can recruit Generals like Pyrrhus.

General statistics

Once you have a few Generals, you will notice that they share the same statistics, but the specific quantities differ.

You should note that the Generals’ statistics have an influence on various parts of your game as shown below:

Politics	Increases Subordinate City construction, gold production speed, resource gathering speed and troop death to wounded rate.
Defense	Increases your troop’s defenses in battle.
Attack	Increases your troop’s attack in battle.
Leadership	Increases Subordinate City training speed, troop health points and march speed.

The higher a General’s statistics are, the more benefits you will receive. Players should therefore ensure they increase the General’s level regularly and complete the enhancement process to improve his or her statistics.

Evony: General Pyrrhus

Evony regularly introduces new Generals for players to acquire, and they recently released Pyrrhus, who was a Greek king and statesman of the Hellenistic period. Pyrrhus is considered one of the greatest Generals of antiquity.

Since he was released recently, his complete General Story is yet to be announced. However, we recommend that you keep an eye on his profile if you are interested in knowing more about this General.

The following table lists Pyrrhus’ base statistics and the statistical growth rate:

Every time you increase Pyrrhus’s level, his statistics will improve. The amount by which they increase is the mentioned growth rate. However, you can also increase his statistics through the enhancement process.

Enhancing Pyrrhus is the process of increasing his Star level, and this requires gold and medals. Every time you enhance Pyrrhus, his stat growth rate increases.

Monarchs should remember that Pyrrhus should be a specific level before you can begin the enhancement process. The requirements for the Enhancement process are as follows:

Pyrrhus’s skills

Similarly to other Generals in Evony, Pyrrhus features several abilities which can be used on the battlefield. His skills are listed and described below:

In addition to these skills, Pyrrhus also has a special ability called Pyrrhic War. This ability increases ground troops’ attack and defenses by 35 percent.

It also increases ground troops and mounted troops’ health points by 15 percent when Pyrrhus is leading the army.

What should you use Pyrrhus for?

Although players can use Pyrrhus for any activity in Evony, he specializes in a select few activities.

We recommend that you use him during a ground PvP attack, but you can pair him with Ludwig, Aurelian, Elise, Scipio Africanus or Alessandra.

You can assign Pyrrhus to the Assistant General position for one of the mentioned Generals. In this position, he will assist the main General in battle, therefore, your chances of winning the battle increases.

How to obtain Pyrrhus

Evony players should note that they have to add Pyrrhus to their arsenal to use him on the battlefield.

To obtain Pyrrhus, open your Tavern and select the “Recruit General” option. Keep in mind, however, that Pyrrhus may not be available for recruitment.

Fortunately, the available Generals refresh every few hours, and you can also refresh the Generals  for 50 Gems. You should therefore check the Tavern regularly to see if Pyrrhus is available for recruitment.

If he is available, you need to pay approximately 60 000 000 Gold to add him to your arsenal.
