Evony recently introduced a new Epic Historic General, Sweyn Forkbeard and he specializes in ground troop attacks
There are various Generals in Evony: The King’s Return, and each General has a speciality which will help you progress in the game. The Historic General Summoning event allows players to acquire unique Generals for a limited-time.
At the time of writing this, you can acquire Sweyn Forkbeard, who is a Norwegian king of immense military talent.
He was also the first Danish king to conquer England. In order to summon a General during the event, you have to use Epic Historic General (Glory).
In addition to Sweyn Forkbeard, there are several Generals that you can summon. However, Forkbeard is guaranteed within the next time after you have summoned 5 times.
This means that if you summon 5 times without getting Sweyn Forkbeard, you are guaranteed to procure him the next time you summon.
That being said, the chance that you will get Sweyn Forkbeard is increased by 600% during the event, which means that you may not have to summon 5 times before you obtain Forkbeard.
Monarchs can purchase a package with real money to obtain Epic Historic General (Glory), which is used to summon Generals.
At the time of writing this, there is no free way of collecting Sweyn Forkbeard. This, unfortunately, means that only players who are willing to spend real money in the game will be able to procure him.

Sweyn Forkbeard’s skills
Similarly to other Generals in Evony, Sweyn Forkbeard has a range of skills that you can use to attack enemies and vanquish other players. The following table lists his skills and a description of each:

Forkbeard’s main skill, Viking King, increases ground troops’ attack and health points by 40%. While ground troops and mounted troops’ defense are increased by 10% when he is leading your army to the attack.
Sweyn Forkbeard’s statistics
Every time you increase Forkbeard’s level, you will increase his statistics, which will essentially improve his capabilities. The amount by which his statistics increase is equal to the growth rate.

Monarchs can also cultivate and enhance Sweyn Forkbeard to increase his statistics. Cultivating is the process of spending gold and gems to increase his stats by a bonus amount, but keep in mind that every stat can be increased by an additional 500 points.
Enhancement, on the other hand, increases Sweyn Forkbeard’s Star Level, which costs gold and medals.
Sweyn Forkbeard’s Covenant
