MCoC: Winter of Woe Nebula

In the second round of MCoC’s Winter of Woe event, you have to defeat Nebula, and there are various solo objectives that you can also complete.

Marvel Contest of Champions’ Winter of Woe event requires that gamers defeat a specific opponent over a 2-week period.

The second part of the event commenced on Wednesday, 21 February 2023 and for the next 2 weeks, you can attempt to conquer Nebula.

Before you attempt the fight, you should consider her abilities, strengths and weaknesses. These factors will help you choose the Champion that you want to use to defeat her during the battle.

Players should keep in mind that her Robot Counter enables her to stack up Amp Charges, which allows her to negate any defensive Robot characters available.

Another one of her strengths is that she has various ways to stack up Shock Debuffs and deal considerable Energy Damage. However, you should also consider her weaknesses as they can be used to your advantage.

Champions with Shock Immunity will be completely immune to the bulk of Nebula’s damage. Furthermore, characters with Energy Resistance can mitigate the damage of her Shock Debuffs.

Players should therefore choose Champions with either Shock Immunity or Energy Resistance to make the fight against Nebula easier.

Which Champion should you use against Nebula?

Although you can use any Champion to fight Nebula, some characters perform better in the fight against her than others. Thus, we recommend that you either use Angela or Hulkling to vanquish her within a few minutes.

Keep in mind, however, that the level and the star-level of your Angela and Hulkling characters can influence the fight. The more powerful these Champions are, the easier the fight will be.

On the official MCoC Discord channel, several players have mentioned that the fight against Nebula is much easier to win than the fight against Absorbing Man. However, this does not imply that the fight against her is not difficult.

Solo Objectives

Similarly to the first round of the Winter of Woe event, there are several solo objectives that you can complete in round 2. The objectives that you can complete are listed below:

Name Description
Metal Heads Summoners must complete the Winter of Woe quest with a Champion tagged as God and Metal
Shockingly Simple You have to complete the quest with a medium Champion which has a Burst Combat Style
Caring and Challenging You have to complete the Winter of Woe quest with a Champion tagged as Carina’s Challengers

Who is the next Winter of Woe Champion?

The Winter of Woe event invites gamers to destroy a specific Champion over a 2-week period. After the 2-week period, a new Champion will be introduced along with new solo objectives.

Since Nebula’s fight was only released recently, you have 2 weeks to defeat her and to complete the objectives.

Unfortunately, it is impossible to know who the next Champion will be for the Winter of Woe event. So MCoC players have to wait until the 2-week period is over to see who the next character is.
