PSO2 NGS: Verschmelz

PSO2: NGS recently revealed that players can now acquire the 9-star weapon series, Verschmelz, by completing the new Leciel Exploration dungeon-like quest.

As part of the Artificial Relict to Keep Species (ARKS) organization, you have to team up with a mysterious ally to slay the DOLLS in Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis (PSO2: NGS).

Players have to procure progressively stronger weapons to ensure that they can defeat stronger enemies. One of the weapons you can acquire is the Verschmelz weapon series.

PSO2 NGS: Verschmelz

When you first start playing PSO2: NGS, your character will use 1-star, or 2-star weapons. However, as you progress in the game, you need to procure higher star rating weapons.

Once you reach the endgame phase, your character needs the highest star rating weapon to destroy the enemies.

Sega, PSO2: NGS’s developer, recently added a new 9-star weapon series to the game called Verschmelz.

This weapon’s base attack is 673 and its base natural limit is 847 (+50), but can be maximized to 992 (+70). Furthermore, it has the following potential:

How to acquire Verschmelz

In order to procure Verschmelz, players can participate in the Halpha Environmental Testing Zone Survey. This activity can be accessed by going to your nearest Quest Counter and clicking on the “Leciel Exploration” tab.

Keep in mind that Verschmelz it is a rare drop, which means that you may have to complete the activity several times before you find it.

Alternatively, you can purchase the weapon from the new Growthment Exchange shop, but you need to acquire the new Growthment item, which can also be obtained by completing the Leciel Exploration activity.

Leciel Exploration

Leciel Exploration is a dungeon-like activity that up to 8 players can complete, but keep in mind that you only have 6 minutes to complete it.

Leciel Exploration consists of different sections and every section has a unique challenge that you have to complete. This means you either have to solve a puzzle or vanquish some enemies when you enter a section.

As you progress through the activity, you will receive a variety of buffs. Once the timer runs out, you will be teleported to destroy the final boss. Every time the boss loses 25 percent health, your rewards will be upgraded.

Growthment

To purchase a Verschmelz weapon in PSO2: NGS, you need to procure Growthment, which can only be obtained by completing the Leciel Exploration activity.

The normal Verschmelz weapon costs approximately 50 Growthment, but if you want to purchase the Verschmelz weapon with Fixa Termina Level 1, you have to farm 300 Growthment.
