STFC: Texas-class ship location

STFC recently introduced the Texas-class ships that players can defeat to earn rewards, however, they are only  in specific systems.

In this thrilling mobile game, Star Trek Fleet Command (STFC), you can build vessels, farm resources, complete space-based missions and recruit officers.

As you travel through space, you will encounter an array of enemies, including the Texas-class ships. However, they can only be found in specific locations.

Texas-class

Texas-class enemies were introduced to STFC on Tuesday, 5 September 2023. Although it is not necessary to construct the Monaveen to find and destroy these enemies, it is highly recommended.

This ship focuses on economy, but it is only available to players level 40 and higher.

After building the Monaveen, you can travel to the new Texas-class systems, which is next to Federation Space. In these systems, you can battle Texas-class hostiles to earn rewards.

Players can exchange their rewards in the Monaveen’s refinery for Queen’s Favors, Shipyard Directives or Monaveen-related items.

As previously explained, you have to travel to the new Texas-class systems to find the Texas-class hostiles. In these systems, there are different levels of Texas-class enemies.

Keep in mind that the higher the Texas-class enemy’s level is, the higher their statistics will be, which makes them more difficult to defeat.

Commanders should note that they can find the different levels of Texas-class enemies in specific systems.

The following table lists the systems in which you can find  specific level Texas-class hostiles:

Texas-class level Systems
40
  • Maelruan (40)
  • Nonsuch (40)
42
  • Tunicci (42)
44
  • Abriluni (44)
46
  • Hornebolte (46)
  • Brawowe (46)
48
  • Stetson (48)
51
  • Elt-97 (51)
53
  • Mazai (53)
55
  • Biscotti (55)
58
  • Rgiocomo (58)
60
  • Medici (60)

To find this system, you can either explore the area next to Federation Space, or you can use the search bar to find a specific system.

Before traveling to a system, you should note that the Texas-class foes cannot be found at any location in a system.

This essentially means that you need to explore and travel through the systems mentioned in the table to find a Texas-class enemy.

These enemies can spawn at any location in a specific system and therefore, it is impossible to pinpoint a specific location in a system.

Players should also remember that the systems mentioned in the table require a minimum warp range.

If you do not meet the minimum warp range, you will not be able to travel to the system and, you will, in turn, not be able to vanquish a Texas-class enemy.

Texas-class statistics

As previously explained, the Texas-class foes have varying statistics based on their current levels. The following table outlines the statistics for the different levels of the Texas-class hostiles:

Attacking a Texas-class hostile

Once you find a Texas-class hostile in a system, you should note that attacking the enemy will force you to lower your station’s peace shield.

When the battle begins, you will receive a notification similar to the one you get when engaging in player-versus-player battles.

The ideal approach for vanquishing a Texas-class hostile requires strategic decision-making. This is because revenge hostiles spawn when you are in Texas-class systems and having one target your vessel will not drop your shield.

Thus, you can have a revenge hostile target the Texas-class enemy and keep your shield activated. If you follow this method, you will destroy the target at a much slower rate, but your peace shield will remain intact.

Loot

After defeating a Texas-class hostile, you will be rewarded with several items, including Shipyard Directives.

These directives are required to summon Automated Shipyard enemies, which are the new Solo Armadas introduced with STFC‘s update 58.

By destroying the Automated Shipyard enemies, you will receive Shipyard Credits, which can be used to procure a bounty of resources of materials in the Refinery.
