STFC players can now encounter Texas-class ships in the new Texas-class systems, which are next to Federation space.
Gamers can encounter iconic Star Trek characters, vessels, locations and storylines in this explorative video game, Star Trek Fleet Command (STFC). There are numerous enemy vessels in the game, such as the Texas-class ships.
STFC: Texas-class ships
STFC’s developer, Scopely, regularly updates the game to ensure that players have the best gaming experience.
The latest update, Lower Decks II Part 1, introduced various new features, including a new ship, new enemies, new officers and new missions, among other things.
Players level 40 and higher can now test their fleet’s capabilities against a new enemy called Texas-class. It is worth noting that gamers must add the new ship, Monaveen, to travel to the new Texas-class systems.
For defeating Texas-class enemies, you will be rewarded with various items, which can be exchanged in the Monaveen’s refinery for Queen’s Favors, Shipyard Directives or Monaveen-related items.
Similarly to other enemy types in STFC, you can encounter varying levels of the Texas-class ships. The higher the ship’s level is, the better its statistics will be.
We therefore recommend that you first attempt to vanquish a low-level Texas-class ship before battling a high-level Texas-class ship.
Texas-class ship lore
According to Star Trek lore, the development of the Texas-class ships began in the 2370s as a classified project led by Lieutenant Commander Les Buenamigo. He recruited Sam Rutherford to code the artificial intelligence for the prototype ship.
In 2381, the first 3 Texas-class vessels were ready for deployment. Buenamigo intended to have them supplant the California-class on second contract missions, and he had hoped this would advance his career.
To promote his new ships, he schemed to have the USS Cerritos enter a battle which would highlight its inadequacy and allow the Texas-class ships to save the day in a dramatic fashion.
All 3 ships malfunctioned and became unhinged on account of faulty artificial intelligence. Although the ships were not very successful in the lore, we believe that they have since been upgraded and are now ready for battle in STFC.
Texas-class ship systems
Players can only encounter Texas-class ships in specific systems, and all of these systems are next to Federation space.
You can either search for the systems by exploring space, or you can use the search bar to search for a specific system.
The Texas-class ships are in the following systems:

Statistics
As previously explained, you can encounter varying levels of Texas-class ships in STFC.
We recommend that you battle a low-level Texas-class ship initially, before attempting to destroy a higher-level Texas-class ship. This is because the ship’s statistics increase with its level.
The different levels of Texas-class ships’ statistics are in the table below:
Texas-class level | Power | Defense | Attack | Health |
40 | 42 477 216 | 5 681 225 | 8 459 47 | 28 336 544 |
