Destiny 2: Kelgorath

Players have to defeat the giant Taken Night, Kelgorath, in Destiny 2’s Abyss, which is the 3rd floor of the Deep Dive activity.

Destiny 2 is a thrilling mobile game that is set in Sol, which is a mythic science fiction planet. As a Guardian, you have to protect the planet’s last safe city from alien races.

The latest season, Season of the Deep, introduced various new activities for players to enjoy. On the Abyss level of the new Deep Dive activity, you have to vanquish Kelgorath.

Destiny 2: Kelgorath

Deep Dive is a new activity introduced with the Season of the Deep and it contains various floors. Since it is week 3 of the new season, players can now explore the 3rd level of the activity, Abyss.

As you progress in the floor, you will come across Kelgorath – a gigantic Taken Knight.

You will notice that the boss has a 3-segment health bar, and he is surrounded by Goblins and a Taken Phalanx.

Since the Phalanx does a lot of damage if you are in melee range, it is advisable that you stay on the upper ridge of the arena as much as possible.

Once you have depleted the boss’ health by 1 health state, he will be immune and 3 Taken Blights will spawn.

Players must step into the dome of the Taken Blight and destroy the core. Although The enemies are immune while you are inside the doe, you will receive constant damage.

You therefore have to vanquish as many enemies as possible, with your focus on the Taken Phalanx. Kelgorath only becomes vulnerable when you have destroyed all 3 Taken Blights.

You can then repeat the process by depleting his health and destroying the Taken Blights.

Egregore Coral

Once you have destroyed Kelgorath, you can claim the Egregore Coral, which can be found on the platform in the arena. After claiming the coral, you can open the Deep Dive chest to receive rewards.

Players will open their H.E.L.M Director to find that they have to complete another Deep Dive to progress in their mission.

You then have to go through Sloane’s portal where you will notice a commune between Sloane and Ahsa. Players will finally get a hint about what the Final Shape is before leaving through the portal.

Operation Fulgurite

Before stepping into the Abyss, we recommend that you pick up the Operation Fulgurite quest, as it serves as week 3’s Deep Dive quest.

If you follow the quest, you will be able to progress through the Abyss, where you have to vanquish various enemies before reaching Kelgorath’s arena.
