One of the Generals you can recruit in Evony is Kleos, and although you can use him as a main General, he performs best as an Assistant General.
In this adventurous video game, Evony: The King’s Return, gamers can build an empire from scratch. You have to complete quests, train troops, slay monsters and construct a range of buildings.
To help you complete these tasks, you can recruit Generals, one of which is Kleos.
Evony: Kleos
Kleos is the ruler of the Yadirah city, and he led the Yadirahans to victory in war.
Through the tales passed down through generations, he gradually became a deity of power and glory. This General can be recruited from the tavern in your keep.
Similarly to other Generals in Evony, Kleos has various statistics which influence your gameplay:

Every time you increase Kleos’s level, his statistics will increase. The amount by which it increases is equal to the growth rate listed in the table.
You can also increase his statistics through the cultivation and enhancement processes.
Kleos’s skills
In battle, Kleos will use the following abilities:

| Bash | Ranged Troop and Siege Machine attack are both increased by 10 percent. |
| Siege Machine Ares | Siege Machine attack, health points and defense are increased by 10 percent, respectively. |
| Demigod Hero | Marching Siege Machine attack is increased by 40 percent while attacking siege machine and ranged troop defense and health points are increased by 25 percent. |
Kleos’s main special skill
All Historic Generals start with a base skill, which is generally an indicator of what they are best used as.
Certain Generals can be ascended to star level 10, and levels 6 to 10 add additional buffs to a General’s special skill.
You should therefore ascend Kleos to unlock additional benefits for his special skill, Holy War of Yadirah. This skill increases siege machines’ attack and health points by 40 percent.
Moreover, it increases the army’s march size by 12 percent when Kleos is leading the army to attack.
What should you use Kleos for?
Although Evony‘s Kleos is a powerful General on his own, we recommend that you use him as an assistant General.
This means that you can assign Kleos to another General to assist the main General in a battle. It is worth noting that you cannot assign Kleos to any General, though, as their abilities may not be compatible.
To create the perfect General combination, it is advisable that you either assign Kleos to Pallas, Edward Teach or Ulysses S Grant.
