Evony: Lu Xun

Lu Xun is an Epic Historic General in Evony and although he can be used for various activities, we recommend that you use him for Ground PvP.

In this explorative video game, Evony: The King’s Return, players can assume the role of a lady or lord to build an empire from the ground up.

Since the game is set in medieval times, you have to train troops, recruit Generals, conquer monsters, explore relics and complete quests.

Lu Xun

Evony recently released an in-game announcement which revealed that a new Epic Historic General will be available for recruitment.

Since Friday, 13 October 2023, Monarchs have been able to acquire the new General, Lu Xun.

Lu Xun was a famous military man and statesman of Wu in the Three Kingdoms era. He was listed as one of the most famous generals of the Martial Temple.

To procure this new Epic Historic General, players must participate in the Historic General Summoning event, which will conclude in 8 days. This means that you have until Monday, 23 October 2023 to acquire Lu Xun.

For this event, you have to use Epic Historic General (Glory) to summon an Epic Historic General. The summoned General will be directly added to your General List.

While the event is active, if you do not get the latest released General after summoning 5 times, he is guaranteed in the next summoning.

If you participate in the Historic General Summoning event, your chances of summoning Lu Xun are increased.

In order to acquire Epic Historic General (Glory), players have to purchase Tier 5 Event Packages.

This essentially means that only players who are willing to spend real-life money can acquire Lu Xun by participating in the Historic General Summoning event.

That being said, Lu Xun will become available for recruitment in the Tavern, but he is currently unavailable. When he becomes available, you can recruit him for 60 000 000 Gold.

Lu Xun’s statistics

After recruiting Lu Xun, you can experience his base statistics, however, as you increase his level and complete the cultivating and enhancing processes, you will increase his statistics.

The amount by which Lu Xun’s statistics are increased is the growth rate mentioned in the following table:

Monarchs should note that the cultivation process requires gold and gems to be completed, while enhancement requires gold and medals.

Lu Xun’s skills

Every General in Evony has unique skills that can influence your gameplay. The following table lists Lu Xun’s skills at maximum level:

In addition to these skills, Lu Xun has a special ability; Battle of Xiaoting. This skill increases ground troops’ attack by 45 percent.

Furthermore, it increases ground and mounted troops’ defense and health points by 30 percent when Lu Xun is leading the army to attack.

Enhancing Lu Xun

When you enhance Lu Xun, his special ability will unlock additional effects. The following table lists the effects that he will unlock when the enhancement process is complete:

Lu Xun’s activity

Although you can use Lu Xun for any activity in Evony, we recommend that you use him as a ground player-versus-player General.

You can use numerous combinations for ground PvP; Lu Xun can be assigned to the main General and you can either select Alessandra or Pyrrhus as the Assistant General.

Alternatively, you can select Alessandra as the main General with Lu Xun as the Assistant General.
