While Evony’s Historic General Summoning event is active, Monarchs can acquire the greatest General of the Napoleonic Wars, Suchet.
To progress in Evony: The King’s Return, players have to recruit Generals and upgrade them to enhance their capabilities.
One of the Generals that you can currently obtain is Suchet, who was considered one of the greatest and most successful Generals of the Napoleonic Wars.
Unfortunately, players cannot recruit this General in the Tavern as he is temporarily unavailable. However, you can add Suchet to your General collection by participating in the Historic General Summoning event.
While the event is active, you have to use Epic Historic General (Glory) to summon an Epic Historic General.
Players can choose Suchet or Napoleon (Prime) before performing a summon. Although this increases the chance that you will summon 4 Generals, your chance to summon the selected General is even higher.
If you do not summon the selected General after 5 summonings, you are guaranteed to summon the General within the next summoning.
The only way to obtain Epic Historic General (Glory) is by purchasing the Bonaparte Dynasty package, which costs approximately $5.59. However, you have to purchase the Tier 5 Event Package to receive Epic Historic General (Glory).
This may indicate that you have to purchase the Bonaparte Dynasty package multiple times before you will get the necessary item to summon Suchet.

Suchet’s abilities
Suchet has a variety of abilities you can use to your advantage, namely:

Suchet’s special ability, Duke of Albufera, increases ground troops’ attack and health points by 45%. It also increases ground troops and mounted troops’ defense by 25% when Suchet is leading the army.
Statistics
Every General in Evony has the same statistics, however, the statistics’ amounts differ. Players can increase a General’s statistics by completing the enhancement and cultivation processes.
The amount by which a General’s statistics increase is his or her growth rate. The following table lists Suchet’s statistics:

Monarchs should note that enhancing Suchet essentially increases his star level, however, it requires gold and medals to complete. Cultivating Suchet requires gold and gems to increase his statistics.
Covenant
Suchet can establish various covenants with specific Historic Generals to receive buffs and bonuses. The table below lists the bonuses that Suchet will get by establishing covenants:

Can you acquire Suchet for free?
Currently, the only way to acquire Suchet is by summoning him in the Historic General Summoning event, which requires Historic General (Glory).
But if you open Suchet’s profile in the event, you will notice that he costs 60 000 000 gold, but the menu mentions that he is unavailable for recruitment in the Tavern.
Since the game mentions that he can be obtained for 60 000 000 Gold, several players believe that Suchet will become available for recruitment in the Tavern. Evony is yet to confirm this theory.
