For STFC’s Interspecies Illnesses events, you have to gather Medical Test Results to help Dr. Phlox cure a plague
On Monday,18 March 2024, Star Trek Fleet Command (STFC) announced a new event, Interspecies Illnesses.
According to the event’s description, a mysterious plague has swept across the galaxy and no species has demonstrated any resistance to it.
Luckily, Dr. Phlox of the Interspecies Medical Exchange is on the job, and it is your task to work with him to find a cure for the plague before it is too late.

Commanders’ facilities are already equipped for just the kind of medical analysis that will be necessary to develop a cure for this plague.
Dr. Phlox will provide you with deliveries of Biological Samples for you to test. You have to analyze these samples to receive Medical Test Results, which can be used to combat the plague.
Your station has 2 analysis devices, however, both devices can only analyze one sample at a time and the large device takes much longer to finish than the smaller device.
Keep in mind that the results are not always certain, but you might get lucky and have a breakthrough. Some players may make slow but steady progress with the test results.
If you have Dr. Phlox unlocked, he will supervise the analysis himself, which will significantly your chances of getting more Medical Test Results.
Missing Creatures
The announcement revealed that Dr. Phlox uses numerous creatures in his research as well as in his treatment plans. He had been planning to do the same with the plague, however, he discovered that 6 of his cages are empty.
Players must track down his missing creatures, as they can be used to generate a one-time reward of Medical Test Results.
You therefore have to search every corner of the galaxy to find a range of creatures in order to procure additional Medical Test Results.
