During STFC’s Interspecies Illnesses event you have to acquire Medical Test Results by analyzing Dr. Phlox’s Biological Samples
Star Trek Fleet Command (STFC) regularly hosts in-game events which require that players complete a unique task to earn rewards.
Players level 10 and higher can now enjoy the Interspecies Illnesses event and to score points for this event, you have to acquire Medical Test Results.
A recent STFC announcement revealed that a plague has swept across the galaxy and so far, no species has demonstrated any resistance to it. You have to join forces with Dr. Phlox to find a cure for this disease before it’s too late.
Dr. Phlox will provide you with Biological Samples, which you have to analyze to receive Medical Test Results.
Players’ stations have both a large and small analysis advice and you can choose which one to use. Although both devices can analyze one sample at a time, the large device takes longer to finish.
The larger device has the potential for a larger breakthrough, if you feel it is worth the risk.
In some rare cases, the large device will provide players with new Biological Samples and Medical Test Results. This allows you to use them to run another analysis.
If you have Dr. Phlox unlocked, he will supervise the analysis himself. This will increase your chances of getting additional Medical Test Results. That being said, it is not mandatory to unlock Dr. Phlox to enjoy the event.
Event schedule
The Interspecies Illnesses event is only active for a specific time, and to earn rewards, we recommend that you complete the objectives before the event concludes:

Rewards
There are 3 Interspecies Illnesses events that you can enjoy, though each of them has the same objective: Gather Medical Test Results.

The more results you procure, the more points you will earn. The number of points you earn determines how many rewards you will receive for completing the events.
Players will be rewarded with Enterprise Coins, which can be exchanged for an array of items in the event store. That being said, some items require more Enterprise Coins than others.
Creatures
Dr. Phlox discovered that 6 of his creature cages are empty and it is up to you to find the missing creatures. If you find the missing creatures, they can be used to generate a one-time reward of Medical Test Results.
STFC players have to find a Pyrithion Bat, Immunocytic Gel Worm, Lyssarian Desert Larvae and an Osmotic Eel. Furthermore, you have to search the galaxy for Regulan Bloodworms and Loose Tribble.
