The best officers in STFC to defeat the new Gorn enemies are Kathryn Janeway, Enterprise-E Piccard and Enterprise-E Data.
Star Trek Fleet Command’s update 65 was released on Tuesday, 9 April 2024, and it introduced a lot of new content for you to enjoy.
You can now encounter the new Gorn Hunters as you explore the galaxy, but they are unlike any other enemy in the game.
The Gorn are immune to traditional weapons, therefore, they can only be defeated by Isolytic Damage Crews or vessels. Since their introduction, several Commanders have wondered what the tier list is for Isolytic Officers.
A tier list is a ranking system that allows players to rank anything in tiers from the best to the worst. That being said, the Isolytic Officer’s tier list is quite short and simple.
This is because the only officers which are able to vanquish the Gorn Hunters are Kathryn Janeway, Enterprise-E Piccard and Enterprise-E Data.
Since all of these officers’ abilities increase your Cascade Isolytic damage, they are all ranked in the S-tier. This crew combination is the only direct PvE officers, which means that gamers are forced to use them in a fight against the Gorn.
That being said, update 65 also introduced an array of new officers, one of which is SNW Nurse Chapel. Her Below Deck Ability, Protocol 12, increases Isolytic Damage when fighting hostiles by a specific percentage.
Commanders can therefore also use her to defeat the Gorn, but keep in mind that you have to add her to your fleet first.
How to obtain SNW Nurse Chapel
Players who wish to expand their Isolytic Damage Crew can recruit SNW Nurse Chapel. Not only will she increase your Isolytic Damage, but she will also increase the loot that you earn after destroying a Gorn Hunter.
Unfortunately, only players who are willing to spend real money in STFC will be able to recruit SNW Nurse Chapel.
If you are not willing to spend real money, you can still defeat the Gorn Hunters by using Kathryn, Enterprise-E Data and Enterprise-E Picard.
Which ship should you use?
STFC players have to assign Janeway, Enterprise-E Picard and Enterprise-E Data to a specific ship to destroy the Gorn hostiles. It is noteworthy that the crew you use has a greater impact on the battle than the ship you use.
We recommend that you use the strongest ship in your fleet to conquer the Gorn Hunters.
However, these enemies’ damage will increase by 50 percent when they are fighting Explorers. You should therefore not use an Explorer to vanquish them.
Where can you find Gorn hostiles?
Once you have assigned your crew to a ship, you have to travel to specific systems to find the Gorn:
