STFC players who are part of an Alliance can engage in weekly PvP events to earn War Keys, which are used to open Warchests.
Scopely recently released update 65 for Star Trek Fleet Command and it introduced a new building named the War Room. This building will help you collect significant rewards for both players and their Alliances.
However, to earn these rewards, you have to collaborate with your Alliance to engage in a week-long player-versus-player battle.
If you earn points, you will progress your War Key meter and once you have accumulated enough points, you will receive a War Key.
Commanders can use this War Key to open a Warchest, which will reward you with resources, materials, components for ships, construction materials and particles for a unique research node.
The more points you earn, the better the rewards you will receive by opening a Warchest.
Keep in mind that the level of your War Room and your OPS level also determines the rewards you will earn.
This means that if you are interested in getting the greatest rewards from the Warchest, you have to upgrade your War Room regularly.
Players will not only earn great rewards for constructing the War Room, but they will also receive a variety of buffs that will help them advance in STFC.

War Room Buffs
Only players who have reached level 20 will be able to construct the War Room. After constructing the new building, you can upgrade its level to increase the value of the rewards that you earn.
However, you will also receive these buffs:
Buff name | Description |
Isolytic Damage | 50%increase |
Officer Statistics | 2250%increase |
Shield Heath | 3200%increase |
Warchest Rewards
You can earn various rewards by opening a Warchest. The rewards that level 21 players can earn are as follows:
Item | Quantity |
Parsteel | 5 390 000 |
Tritanium | 4 158 000 |
Dilithium | 165 165 |
Refined Ore | 266 G3 Common Ore |

Refined Crystal | 28 G2 Common Crystals |

Seals of Ko’tal | 1 |
Emblem of Honor | 102 |
Can you earn a Warchest without being part of an Alliance?
As previously stated, only STFC players who are part of an Alliance can earn Warchests. This is because the War Room requires that Alliance members work together and engage in the weekly player-versus-player event to earn points.
Once an Alliance has earned enough points, players will receive a War Key, which can be used to open a War Chest. As a solo player, you may struggle to accumulate enough points when engaging in PvP to earn the War Keys.
We therefore recommend that you join an Alliance if you are interested in obtaining a Warchest.
