Commanders have to refine numerous creatures in STFC to complete the Critters Galore Mission, however you first have to obtain the creatures.
In order to progress in Star Trek Fleet Command (STFC), you have to complete a variety of missions to earn rewards. One of these missions is Critters Galore, which functions unlike other missions in the game.
Most missions can be obtained as you follow the story, or you can begin a mission by opening the holodeck. However, the Critters Galore mission can be acquired through the gift section.
This means that if you do not check the gift section on a regular basis, you may miss the mission.
This mission is part of the new event that you can enjoy, Interspecies Illnesses. To complete the Critters Galore mission, you have to assist Dr. Phlox in his experiments.
The first task that you have to complete is to meet with Phlox before you can examine his experiment.
To complete the mission, Commanders have to refine 6 of Dr. Phlox’s Creatures via the Refinery. Although the mission’s description states that you have to refine the creatures, it does indicate an actual refinery.
Open your event store and select the “Interspecies Illnesses” category. Commanders will then discover various categories in which you can either exchange the creatures or obtain Medical Test Results.
Once you have refined 6 Creatures, you will complete the Critters Galore mission and receive rewards.
Where to find the Creatures
In order to refine the Creatures for the Critters Galore mission, players must obtain them by completing various tasks. The following table explains how you can acquire each Creature:

| Regulan Bloodworm | Players have to complete the mission Runaway Cargo. |
| Osmotic Eel | Commanders must complete the “What’s Mine is Mine” mission to obtain the Osmotic Eel. |
| Pyrithian Bat | You have to mine in Valakis. |
| Immunocytic Gel Worm | Players can acquire this Creature by mining in Dekendi. |
| Lyssarian Desert Larvae | This creature can be obtained by mining in Xantoras |
Mission objectives
As previously mentioned, some Creatures can only be procured by completing a specific mission. The following table lists how to complete every quest:

| What’s Mine is Mine | Commanders have to vanquish 12 hostiles of level 11 or higher from the galaxy. |
| Otherworldly Delights | You simply have to find the creature and catch it to complete the mission. |
| Runaway Cargo | Players must defeat 18 hostiles of level 11 or higher. |
Rewards
Players will receive Parsteel as well as Tritanium if they complete the Critters Galore mission. If you complete the Interspecies Illnesses events, you will be rewarded with Enterprise Coins.
STFC players can exchange these coins for a variety of items in the event store.
