Commanders have to use Dr. Phlox’s Refinery in STFC to obtain Medical Test Results, which progresses the Interspecies Illnesses events.
Commanders can now enjoy an exciting event in Star Trek Fleet Command (STFC). The Interspecies Illnesses event requires that players collect a variety of creatures as well as Biological Samples to refine them in a limited-time refinery.
Although the event’s description states that you have to refine the items in D. Phlox’s Refinery, it does not function as a normal refinery at all.
Players can find this unique refinery in the event store. The refinery allows you to exchange Dr. Phlox’s missing creatures for Medical Test Results.
For every missing creature that you obtain, you will receive approximately 24 000 Medical Test Results.
If you collect the Medical Test Results, you will progress the various Interspecies Illnesses events. Even though there are different Interspecies Illnesses events, they all share the same objective: Gather Medical Test Results.
For every Medical Test Result that you earn, you will get a certain quantity of points. The number of points you earn during the event determines the rewards you will receive when the event concludes.
Players will be rewarded with Enterprise Coins, which can be used to purchase items in the event store.
Missing Creatures
Dr. Phlox discovered that 6 of his creatures have escaped from their cages and it is now up to you to find them.
When you have captured a creature, you have to use the event refinery to return them to Dr. Phlox. Players can use the table below to locate the creatures:
Creature | How to obtain it |
Lyssarian Desert Larvae | To locate this creature, you have to mine resources in Xantoras. |
Immunocytic Gel Worm | Players have to mine in the level 14 system, Dekendi. |
Pyrithian Bat | You have to mine in Valakis to locate this creature. |
Osmotic Eel | You will be rewarded with this creature for completing the “What’s Mine is Mine” mission. |
Regulan Bloodworm | Commanders have to complete the “Runaway Cargo” mission. |
Loose Tribble | To obtain this creature, you have to complete the Otherworldly Delights mission. |
Medical Test Results
To acquire additional Medical Test Results, you have to analyze Biological Samples. Fortunately, Dr. Phlox will provide these samples, you simply have to analyze them.
Your station is equipped with a large and small analysis device, and you can choose which device you want to use to analyze the samples.
Although the large device takes longer to analyze the samples, it has the potential for a larger breakthrough, if it is worth the risk for you.
